Horse Heaven Hills AVA: May’s Discovery Vineyard

STORY: Sal debuted with the 2012 vintage when we were afforded the opportunity to work with Cabernet Sauvignon from May’s Discovery Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills. This special reserve bottling is named after Morgan’s amazing wife, Sally, and the first vintage was made to commemorate their 10th wedding anniversary that same year. In fact, the sunflower on the back label is one of the decorations that they saved from their wedding reception. This wine shows the amazing potential of the Horse Heaven Hills and its ability to produce Cabernet that isn’t just ripe fruit, but beautifully savory.
