STORY: Named after David & Cindy’s Vizsla, Starr, who was brought home at 8 weeks old, just a day before their inaugural crush in 2002. Starr is no longer with us, but her memory lives on through this crowd-pleasing wine. When David & Cindy started making wine, Cindy didn’t care that much for Syrah because it can be a big wine. She knew that in Europe, Syrah was being blended into Sangiovese to give it more structure, so she thought, why don’t we blend a little Sangiovese into our Syrah to calm it down? So, they did.
